The Council of Holistic Health Educators, is the only 501(c)(4) nonprofit association of holistic health schools, educators, practitioners, and stakeholders, united to protect and grow the rights of holistic health educators, their students and practitioners. We work for our member schools and programs. Our mission is to serve our holistic educators, students and practitioners as an advocate and resource to better understand law and policy as it relates to holistic health.
The Holistic Council staff is looking forward to speaking with you about health and nutrition policy, resources we can provide your students and graduates and answer any questions you might have. In addition to our work within the community, we work to ensure holistic professionals can work with client’s on-on-one, in an individualized setting, assisting them to make healthy nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle choices. We protect the practice of holistic health by defeating harmful legislation, and lobby to pass laws that protect and expand our diverse profession’s ability to practice and employment opportunities. Additionally, we continually educate policymakers, build grassroots support, train practitioners stakeholders to become involved in the policy process, and respond whenever there is a threat to holistic health with action alerts, and grassroots lobbying. Got a conference coming up? We love conferences and speaking to groups! Council staff would be happy to speak at your next conference, and provide assistance to attendees with their holistic health policy questions. Contact us to learn more! |
